Consuelo Foundation supports Mulat Pinoy video contest;

Php 25,000 cash prize for first place winner

MANILA, Philippines –NGOs have lent their support to the latest Mulat Pinoy video contest, “Sexual Health: Shout or Shush?”

The Consuelo Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit organization whose vision is “to renew hope for those who have lost it and give hope to those who have never had it.”  The programs of CFI aim to reduce the incidence of abuse, exploitation and neglect of women and children, promote recovery and reintegration of women and children survivors of abuse, exploitation and neglect, improve the living conditions of abused, exploited, neglected and differently-abled women and children and those at risk, and promote reproductive health and family planning.

CFI has pledged Php 25,000 as a cash prize for the first place winner.

Mulat Pinoy’s partners and sponsors for “Sexual Health: Shout or Shush?” include the Foundation for Adolescent Development, Inc., the Forum for Family Planning and Development, and IT company Brewed Concepts. Media partners include the Philippine NGO Council on Population, Welfare and Development and the Knowledge Channel.

“Sexual Health: Shout or Shush?” was launched on July 7, at the “Sexual Health: Why Should We Care?” open forum at the Filipinas Heritage Library. The deadline for submission of entries is on October 15, 2012.
