  1. The 1987 Philippine Constitution
Article 2: Declaration of Principles and State Policies
    SEC. 12.
The State recognizes the sanctity of family life and shall protect and strengthen the family as a basic autonomous social institution. It shall equally protect the life of the mother and the life of the unborn from conception.

The RH Bill is unconstitutional. Many modern contraceptives included in the bill (IUD, injectables, and pills), as already stated in the article, kills the conceived by preventing implantation. That is why they are called abortifacient contraceptives.

  2. I have been following the population explosion and the massive ignorance of the facts for most of my life, and the situation in the Phillipines has been one of the major concerns, as the Catholic bishops have been exerting an influence on government I can only describe as evil. How the perpetuation and growth of human misery can be conducted by a system claiming to be an agent for God, or of good works, is beyond my comprehension. I can only hope that it is due to ignorance and that it is amenable to treatment by repeated exposure to fact.

I am so glad to see there is an organization such as Mulat Pinoy to combat this pervasive and malevolent influence.
