From PLCPD: A week before the State of the Nation Address, no less than President Aquino himself, met with champions of the Reproductive Health Bill at the House of Representatives.
Initiated by the Philippine Legislators’ Committee on Population and Development (PLCPD), the meeting was meant to convey to the President the importance of fast-tracking the movement of the bill to save mothers’ lives and provide a better quality of life for the Filipinos.
In the meeting, PNoy reiterated his support for the bill grounded on the basis of responsible parenthood.
